Cybermagick Need Intent

Alex Sumner in a recent article commented about Cybermagick: Let’s Do Cyber!

So there I was, lying awake at night, tortured by that most exquisite of agonies – “what the hell is Cybermagick?” And more to the point, what is the real difference between cybermagick and any other type of magick?

 

It’s a very interesting work, and I will try to do some adding my comments.

We still lack of a proper definition of what Cybermagick really means.

Technomagick? EletronicMagick?

Uhm. 

Cyber means something “…relating to, or involving computers or computer networks (as the Internet)…” Source: The Merriam Webster Dictionary.   

So for now, I will follow with my personal idea:  

“Cybermagick as related to using computers to do magic(k)”. 

See this is in no ways related to the many magick areas nor religions practices, Grimoires, CM, Witchcraft, Chaos, ATRs, Candles, etc.

I think Cybermagick still is a bit far to become more than an idea to start for some usefull developments.

For now, all that is just data source for information and the cyber level, including internet, is really very basic on that. The way data (information), images, sounds, etc. is registered still use a method of translating that into "bits", just eletric energy alternating from 0 to 1 using a media like a hard-drive, pendrive, memory chips, etc. Multiply this by billions, billions, and all you will see is a giant big mess of 0s and 1s mixed. That famous image of data moving in the movie “Matrix” is really just poetic. That need a program (software), developed by humans to all that make sense and to execute something using that as grouped “patterns”.

And shit, please, we got bored at the most extreme point about newbies promoting debates about Matrix idea. Go back to Narnia and Harry Potter and 1001 Nights. That still is more advanced! IMHO for sure. 

Forget the high velocity of modern computers, which still are the same very basic systems used first in the past to control textile machinery. Just faster. I’m very serious about this. Go study.

I have worked developing software since the 70s and in magic/spiritual study and practice near same time. Therefore, I use to say I have a personal interest in the Human X Computer development and is interesting how many a company and human kind is related to that.

In addition, we are faraway of what the Star Trek's computer was able to do, like to process an entire solar system data in seconds and present information like "that are a planet M-class with current civilization level". But think for a second and that still is just a machine processing data. Yes, even Star Trek computer does not do magick, and even with our beloved Mr. Spock with all his Vulcan Mind Power capabilities working on it. Just to remember, Vulcans was great at mind control, a kind of magick too in someway.

So, as cited, what the difference for the Akashic Records? My personal experience going there is: the Akasha Records register everything, at all areas and realms. For some people, myself included, entering there appears you have entered in a kind of fog place, with partial symbols floating everywhere. This is why is good to have a target to go there, and this is the "key" to find what you want. Sometime one of that symbols may appear more clear and you "get it", like a door and enter in a complete scenario. Time, events, people, thoughts, everything is registered there. You may see events and be able to get the thoughts of each people there.

Computers are really far away from this.

Even the images you see at your computer screen are not the same as a drawing done with pencil and paper. This is why many people try to put seals in their computers and that works different. When it works. 

In practice, what is working there is mind and the magician intent. Not the computer. It’s the same to visualize a seal image, but without a drawing. The computer image in no ways can be seen as a valid drawn today. It may help you to remember how the image is, but it is not the true drawn seal.

In my personal opinion, this happens because the draw at the paper have already your intent registered. It became a tool used with energy to register the information of an intent! To magick, your pencil is a more powerful tool than any tablet.  

But the computer image, even if you put your own energy and have done it using some kind of paint software, still is a mess of 0s and 1s. To have a better idea, just look closer the screen, better if you use a magnifying glass. You will see the same at a TV screen: a lot of light dots. That is not a draw in the magic(k) point of view! Its just a lot of electric points.

Get this? You can see an image at the computer, but that still is not information.

So, sorry to my university teachers and IT colleagues, it is not really information. That data is something that "appears to be" information.

But to magickal use, information must be a whole think by itself.

This is what Cybermagick will last to happens for a time. I have my ideas about what human kind need to learn before reach that. For example, our civilization technology started with the wheel and the levers. Even software still use such concepts. That is the problem. This may evolve to the next level. But let’s keep so for now.

As I see, what we have working today, using “cyber technology” and there are some good examples, are one and other good oracle software and websites. But what really work there? The intent of the reader. Get this? A bad reader with the best of all oracle tools will not get a decent result. So, there are no cyber way to do the same.

What is really acting is the intent of the reader, his expertise and capability to deal with the tools used.

And intent is just the main power behind magick.

Magicians learn about working with "The Will". AC and others in modern times just made the word more popular.

Ok, there are already many works about but I like the idea. The problem is a lot of stupid people think “do your will” means the same as “do whatever you think”.

So think on this: you only have rights when you recognizes that others also have rights. So your “Will” start in the point where you recognize others also have a Will (even if unused).

Using your Will means you must be the true owner of your intent. But what most happens is people who are ruled by politics, religions, prejudices, partial personal opinions, society, etc. They are not using their Will. They are acting like parrots. A drugs addicted is ruled by the drugs. Religion can be a drug, politics is a drug, etc. It is not you, it is someone else point of view. This is the difference.

Ok, let us keep in the “intent”. This is the needed to work on magick. Have an intent and be able to work with it for some time. This is why so many stupid people are able to make the “evil eye”, and do it often. A very negative thing for sure. They may be stupid, but still be able to fix an intent for the needed time over a target.

If the current technology is not able to even register “information” in a more decent aspect, not just data, why expect it will be able to “act” or even simulate intent?

People who have gone deep in Crystal programming learn they are able to keep and even do more than any modern IBM computer. In the past, IBM had good evangelists who was not just promoting what they have to sell, some was real visionaries. I really miss this. I have not read something decent from them nor have seem this company nor the other big ones with interest to keep such works. Where are the good visionary’s works? I say people who works daily for the future, not immediate cheap results. Current computer companies are doing and promoting almost the same we saw at the 80s. Just with better graphics. Anything since then is just processing velocity and really few creativity nor true development.

But crystals, for example, use another methods and currently also need personal development to be able to connect and understand the information the crystal can register and process someway accordingly with the specific qualities each one may have. Sorry newagers, forgot the fantasy aspects even if that are always good to make movies and fairie tales. This is a technology still faraway of most scientist’s research. Well, I’m sure some may be trying to understand about psychometry, is a starting point. But again related to “whole information” idea.

And psychometry ideas and methods can be one of many ways to develop in the future a working Cybermagick.

The capability to a computer (with its software) to connect with the whole information related to some event.

This is the point when we will see something really new start: connect to information and be able to deal with it.

However, remember, as commented, magick is based on “intent”. And how you learned and develop to made it.

To finish, in my point of view, Cybermagick will become true when such mechanisms become able to “make and act” on an intent using “whole information”. Not just the current mess of 0s and 1s, but whole information under an intent.  

Easy to think a clay done Golem or Thralls are still more advanced in the aspect of “act”. The problem is how they work with the information they receive, and here become another point, how to ask or command, reasoning and etc. Uhm, remember HAL 9000 from the 2001 A Space Odissey?

About This or That Kind of Magickal Method


Have been interesting days with many good debates around in the magick areas.
I suggest you to read all that as you want and follow the links and references to other's author's material. You will find a lot to study for years of good practice.

But uhm, sorry, I'm not on the mood to comment some things. 

I repeat often, I'm a practitioner, not a scholar. Glad and thanks they do such great work. It's their path. 

Some debates even appears just some old grump guys. I'm one too sometimes despite I'm being a lovely one Buddha with a sexy nose and full of Love for the Universe.

I follow my own path no matter how many books I read, study and practices. 
I can only speak from my own practice point of view, to keep walking and all the wonders that we can find on the way.
The great special effects happen in so many ways that most people will not believe it if we told how that really is.
Fantastic images? What about talk with a dragonfly or a mountain? Yes, one and other time, but sometimes just something that touches your soul so deeply that no visions can describe.

Grimoire mages, Chaos, Ceremonial Magicians, Sorcerers, Witches, K or not K... So many topics.
Whatever you do must be true and make sense for your true soul. It may touch your heart and so, with time you will be able to recognize the true on others as they have their own sense about what they do.
Where are your true soul? Is your Will really yours? 


There are many levels at magic/spiritual learning.
 
And that start having your human life in a reasonable level to suport it. Yes, this is not something to escape from life. Who pay the bills? 
Spiritual and magick learning will make you have a strong contact with your background first. 
See, this is not the same to give value to futile things, but to know all that things are there and how you feel and act accordingly. 

The spiritual/magick learning starts when you discover you just know nothing, then become curious and wanting to know more about, so moving to wanting to learn, starting to do the learning and keep moving despiste the high price until someday becoming to know something and only then going to know a bit and knowing there are more to know. 
This is the day when you deeply discover you know nothing. You have reached the starting point of your path.
Only then the learning and your own path start. From this point all others walkers will recognize you as being on the path.
That is priceless.

Extreme Tarot Readings and Some of The Art Behind It


Sometimes I had the opportunity to do what I call "extreme readings".
That are readings on fly, very short, for a lot of people at minimum time.
I say, something like one or two minutes maximum.
I will talk here using the Tarot as a good example. But in practice sometimes I used other oracles, like stones, peanut shells, broken sticks, metallic clips, nails, etc. Well, I developed an ability to read almost anything as an oracle. Someday I will write about how each work really different,  

So I will try to give some information more related to the aspects of doing a good decent reading, whatever the oracle you choose.

To make extreme readings will push your limits to show you really know what are you doing.

For example, you are in a bar, a party, in a park or barbeque with friends, or during a Sabbath,  you have your deck and you start doing readings for people and sudden, they become a lot.
Sometimes that can really became a fury, and many people want listen you.
Trust me. If you never exposed yourself to the public, be prepared for an avalanche of emotional requests, business opinions and with luck, some really very interesting ones. Some of the best people I knew, the ones who really make this a better world, and some of the best students I had I found this way.
And a lot of interference. I wish you already have learned how to work and know to enter in a calm state, focused and not allowing any intrude energy to disturb you. In public places is funny how many spirits you will find trying to make a mess too (read the final comment please). Plus some drunk people. A good time to remember about protection circles and all that stuff. But in such places, your personal protection area must be done silently. Remember this never but never can be a circus show. If you know how to do, you will be able to go unnoticed. This is a good point for you.


In practice, is easy to find people doing minor readings, like 5-10 minutes at many places, like fairs, public events. Many are good readers and many are just learning. In the 90s for a time I used to seat under a big tree in a park and do 5 minutes readings for the people. Was very interesting to know more about people and to do some money.

Lots of tarot (or any Oracle) readers may do short readings sometimes taking 5 to 10 minutes.


Many times I did "extreme readings" (1-2 minutes) even for free, and many do this way. Most of times just happens. Ok. Just remember to cleanup yourself after that. This is a reason to bill something. Even a such short work can bring you some very unpleasant attached energies. As shit may happens during a reading, see my final commentary at end of this text.

Note: I'm commenting about situations for doing extreme readings and how work with that. This is not a service I do as the reader will got tired after a session of extreme reading the same as doing complete readings for all that people. It's a matter of results, not time.


The most important to understand is: this is not a competition, it's not a car race, nor a circus show.
Some people who make public mystic fairs are always after someone to do a show for nothing. This is not the case.

The goal is to do a good reading as you will be improving your skills and yourself to be more able to talk less but with a complete overview.
If you need five minutes it's Ok. May be with time you will need just some seconds, for a direct and clear phrase to answer the client.

Many of us will have such experiences and that are good for training if you are starting.
But some people will expect a lot from you if you are experienced. I say, really a lot. Yes, there are the true interested, but also you will meet opportunists who will give you a lot of headache. So, it's an opportunity to learn to protect yourself.

But what is a short extreme reading as I will comment?
A short reading can be just a phrase, a specific comment, related with the person need. But this have to be complete in my point of view.
And this is my purpose here, to comment some aspects about a doing complete Tarot reading in a minute or two.
See, for "complete reading" in no ways you will talk about the entire life of your client, but the reply must be the needed to the question.


You are ready for a short extreme reading when you can see at once, just a second, all you need, even to talk for a long time with just one card. But I will keep in the 1-2 minutes limit, Ok?

But what you can see in a "one card reading"?

The reply is simple: You can see all you need related to the question, the why and how, if something is hidden, the for what and even possible incomes.
This start just working with the most basic meaning, the "title" for each card. This is all you need, a simple, basic idea.Then the elements, the numbers, symbols. All that with time become part of your intuition too. And more, the personal wisdom you develop.
And as your skills increase, your capabilities to understand situations, people, companies, this become a phrase, a complete idea you can understand and express.

I always use the "one card reading" in my formal readings too, not just for short readings.
I always ask "whats happening?"
In a short reading, I just get the general idea and talk about that.
But in a formal reading this means I have more time to comment on detail.

So I first use just one card to see what is happening and that is the general line I follow and everything I do later will be related with that card.
As for years I do most readings to distant foreign people, by e-mail, I have more time to write. This is the same for a live reading (when I do). So with time I will talk about the whole scene I see.The result can be some pages plus any other information I see is needed to add. For example, may be what I'm talking about is related to some area so I will add information related to that. Some people don't know how care of himselves and need guidance, and this is what I do more, look who you are and what you need to know to follow on your path. But see, for an extreme reading, I have to get the main aspects and go direct to that and trust me, it's possible to add even guidance on that. This is not a matter of cut words, but learn to be direct.

Some readings may need some extra information, and this is Ok. The "one card" gave the needed information, but the client may have some adventure ahead, a business need, a life change they are on fear to do.  For such cases, I like to put three more cards if I really want to go on some detail already present at the initial card. Usually some variation of the standard "Situation-What to do-Results". Remember this have variations, like "Past-Present-Future", or "Background-Whats happening-what look for".
Each case is different and you must learn to explore such possibilities as needed. Remember, what is the main information from the "one card" to keep on track. That will guide you about how to explore more or not.


Following. I commented you will be receiving a lot of information.

How are your connection with the world of symbols you get?

This apply to any Tarot reading. And for any other Oracle in my opinion.

Each card have a major meaning, and have a lot of symbols drawn on it.
But the real reading comes when you go ahead, use the card as a door to the another realm, the sources of the information you are looking for.
Remember first what is the card title and the ideas related.

Now look about the sources of information:

You will have two kind of information sources coming from the Tarot:
1) The first is what you will see about your client, the person for who you are doing the reading.You will enter at his/her personal realm.
2) The second information is what the Tarot will show you.

Both are present at the card you get. And this can also give you an image at your mind, even a complete movie in a second.
So remember, the Tarot is a connection to his/her private life and will add information/symbols related to what you see.


Please, remember, be respectful. You are entering in the most sacred place: a personal life, so keep your prejudices and personal ideas and interests out!


You must understand, in a reading is the Tarot who will reply. You must process the information, and only when you are able to, comment more about with your study and personal life experience.

But not to judge your client because your personal choices.

What I want to make clear is some of your personal ideas can't interfere with the reading. Your personal preferences, like sports, sex, politics, kind of food, money, prejudices, etc. such conceptions about life style most of times are not the question.This is what charlatans and oportunists do most of times, just try to use the information to cheat or manipulate the client.


Warning: To keep your life apart in no ways means lack of ethics!

Please understand: to help who really want help/evolution is not the same as reply to anyone.
So, you does not have to help criminals or to harm others. I knew many who do this deeply in practice. To help someone to commit a crime make you a criminal too. Dot.

You are free to not reply on such questions. Just say bye.

How to interpret the "one card" or short spread you are doing?  


The Tarot most of times will be very explicit just at the first card. As I told, is a wide image of what is happening.
So we have the card title and a image or just the idea related like in the Minor Arcana.

So that "one card" give you an image. Wish you developed your intuition, your senses are Ok and you are not affected by the environment. This is important when working for really beautiful clients or some famous people, they can be very boring or attractive. LOL...


Developing reading skills will make it s always clear to understand? No. It will not.

Even I recognize one and other time that "one card with the whole image" appears really strange, I say, really have no sense at first look. Yes, sometimes I look that card and I say to myself: "What?" This will happens with you, be sure.
So be humble and use a simple method, that is very useful also to learn more the Tarot. As you feel by experience, ask for one or two cards at once to explain the first one. Easy and simple, just talk to the Tarot "Please, explain the card I received".
When such strange conditions happens, the additional card may show additional hidden aspects you and sometimes the client are unaware or try to hidden. Or will show the question is really different and offer a complete different point of view. There are many possibilities. And yes, some clients will lie to you and you need to be able to go through it.

When doing short readings, people may or not have specific questions. Many just want a "message for this time".
And even when they have specific questions, remember most of them are not really able to express what they want or the question is really wide.
Anyways, you must be able to get the whole scene and interpret it at once.

And here again the idea of a door to the other realm, and there is your client world, with everything you can see (or even think was possible) and all the symbols the card is presenting for you.

Now you have what the client asked (or not), how his/her the private life is about that and the Tarot symbols about the situation.


An important note: Be aware, as you develop your skills and your personal wisdom, one and other time the Tarot may give a short and direct reply to you. Yes, sometimes the reply have nothing with the client, but is a message to your personal point of view, or an advice about something you have to know or change. The deeper you goo, this will happens too. So be prepared for a card with a message like "Use your experience to comment about N" or even "Hey stupid, not this way!". LOL...


So you have all it, let's talk.

First, be respectful. This is a major rule for both sides.

You will have a client who is ready to listen. Others not so ready due personal concerns, family traditions, etc. They need learning.

And some really don't want to listen, whatever you say. The same for opportunists wanting a lot from you. They will suck you the most they can. Do not waste your time with none of these. Really.


It is always important to say the truth. But be calm about this.
For some people, the truth can be a punch in the stomach so try to look around how you can be gentle and at the same time, explain the needed points. 
In this part, not always the Tarot will show you the client is "sensible". You must learn more about people too. 
Anyways, as you make your muscles stronger, you will be Ok when one and other talk bad about you because you "did a bad reading and that was not what they wanted". 

When you are true, it allows people to see you without masks. Are you perfect, without problems like some do for self promotion? Be sure I'm not and I had really a lot of deep good and bad experiences few people had. 

So be clear, who deserve what you do will get it.
You can always talk about the truth, just observe how you do it.

Many Tarot teachers talk about to develop your intuition. Practices like meditation will help a lot. Yes, this is very good and needed.
But you also need to go through the world of the symbols to be able to get the understanding of the scene related with that. Less is more, so work to develop this,

Some magickal areas and religions where they use some kind of oracle call this capability as something like "to receive a ray of light". Uhm, a nice image to describe it.


At the initial years, is common to the reader try to analyze all the symbols in each card. And there are a lot to learn and study. And this can do a lot of mess due too much information.

The Tarot symbols are important to to study, but see all this information as part of a cake you will cook. The result is the cake and you will just taste it without think about all many ingredients and how it was done.
Get this? With time and experience you will start to get the final taste, the meaningful result of the reading.

For example, you can look a picture of people and say at once if it is funny, if they are happy or not and how nice the place is. You does not need to fix your attention to each point of the image. You must learn to see the whole scene.


At the reading you have the client and a scene you received. What comes to your mind first of all?
This first imagery uses to be what is really happening, what you need to know.
For sure, as an instant movie, you can talk a lot about or just take the principal.



But how to get there?

Study, knowing well the basics and the main general aspects for each arcana.

There are many spreads that help you to learn the main: how to ask and how to get the information.
Ready layout spreads helps a lot on this, just because you divide the question in parts that make easier to interpret.
Remember, always you use some kind of spread, say to the Tarot do the reply using such layout.

Then ask about the whole question like "whats happening to X?"

Remember to disconnected from your personal opinions and follow with the reading.



Additional final comments:

Even in a short extreme reading you may get any of the possible interferences or strange events.
As I told, Tarot is like a door to other realms.
And what can happens when you open such door? Intruders!
Yes, even in a simple one card reading you can receive undesired interference, like opportunist spirits.
And more of that, when you open the door for the other person realm, may be he/she is being attacked someway. This mean, such spirits/forces my use the connection you did and come after you.

So remember, at the start is good to enter a relaxed state, do a prayer you choose specifically for such a moment and ask for protection.
At end, give thanks and release any spirits/forces you may had evoked and close your deck.
If needed, after all, do a banishment to assure nothing else is left around.

Extreme readings can be tiresome because of the required concentration. Whatever you choose to do, the best after a session of reading, is to do something to relax, walk, have a time playing music, etc.

Study, practice. Wish you have fun!

So just buy an extra ticket and all it's done.

Make a Daemons ritual for that? OK!

There are some reference here and there, many not reliable, but even so, people ask for it.
I can do a ritual for you, calling the Daemons related to money.
Be sure this will be done only for your behalf. The results will be something like to help you to have inspiration when you buy your bet. To be clear, you won't receive a fantastic image before your eyes showing what numbers or something else pointing what is the best to chose.
This may work for some six months only.
I will do the same as any former rituals, this is a serious work, in practice, I do some repeats at the first week to assure the spirits got it.
But nothing more and do not write me again. Just wait to the results you may or not get.
As I'm under serious risk of receiving a serious backfire at once because the daemon may dislike such idea, I have to bill very serious for sure. I won't get a risk because you.

You won't buy ready magick knowledge at store. Well, may be you was lucky that time when I was with friends blessing the doll to share love blessings.
(the perfume store's owner didn't know it).

One and other time people really work hard to drive me nuts.
Compassion is not infinite, so one and other time is needed to be very clear and direct.


Most of people come to us due some personal reference, articles, foruns posts, etc.

I know there are many who will just use something like Google and try at blind and forget to look for references. Yes, they forget to use the same Google to search info about who is who. Ok.

So most often, they have some idea who I am and who others are.

Then people come to me asking for help or guidance, because some problem, pay for a reading and what happens?
Here the funny start. Well, some are not funny.


There are a lot of people who receive the needed information and we have a decent talk.
One or other time some additional magick work is done, here I'm including some hard cases, but if I accepted to do it, let's work.
Some like to come each year for a personal update for a new year or because new events in their lifes. They get what is needed, learn and follow on.

But sometimes.... people expect fantasies or are too deep on some pre-made ideas, like the ones they got at some cheap magazine. 

So, I got the inspiration to write about some sugestions I do, as some of that can appear simple.
Such solutions can have two different reasons:
1) I won't use an atomic bomb because a bug.
2) Need learning to know when to do it.

So be be sure I won't use a truck when a bike is the suffice or I can just walk.

So, in a reading I most often write a long text based on what I can talk in a one hour tarot (or any other oracle) reading (and I talk fast). Add many hours editing, adding comments, examples, etc.
That is sent to the client and... 

Well, remember, I'm commenting about the sttuborn, fantasy based ones,

Then I have some typical replies:

1) Oh no, my problem is not that! I'm sure I'm being attacked by the biggest dark forces!
Reply - Too often they are just under some kind of bug size problem, being anxious or fear and only need a herbs bath or stop with some bad habit.

2) Oh no, your proposal is too simple! I won't do that because my problem is too big and nobody knows what to do!
Reply - First they ignore a specific direct reply about what the problem is. Most of times they do nothing because they want something related with the size of their stupidy. They have not done the bigger options too and won't even try the simple direct solution I pointed.

3) Oh no, I didn't read your reply because I disagree it, but may be you can try this, that or whatever else?
Reply - A serious work can't be done by chance. There are two possible approachs: 1) The problem is something knew. 2) The problem have something that need to be explored, but again, knowing how to go after it.

When I point something, is my point of view and experience. For sure I don't know all, but I have some decades on many areas to recognize my limits when needed. 
So, if there are something to explore, I will point it by myself and explain what are the next steps to explore.
But a lot of times, most of all, I'm pointing some specific reason, what to do, why and how.

And some of that appears to be simple.


What is simple on magick?
It's something specific and clearly related with the results needed.

But in no way this is the same as a easy solution nor something cheap.

And see, simple is not the same as "basic".
For example, a basic candle magick is light a candle and do a prayer.
By other side, a simple candle magick is light a proper color candle, use a specific psalm at same hour for some days.


Most great inventions of mankind, including the art world, are simple.
Remember the Archimedean lever?
He risked his life for suggesting something so simple to his King.
And what is that? A rod and a point of support. That is simple.
And today we all know that the lever is a key part in all modern technology.

But finding a simple solution is not always easy.


To find a solution you first need to evaluate it.

And how you evaluate human life, social groups, companies and why and when magick is more or less related with the life needs?

This comes with learning and practice.


Information is useless without practice.
Practice without learning become only mechanic and lack the "art" to act in better ways.
Remember, good magick is not brute force.

To get magick power you must study, practice, review results, observe and learn from others works. And practice a lot for a long time.

So, many of that popular texts, including newage, witchcraft, mysticism, etc., are just a copy and paste, without the needed reasoning. You will find lots of examples, really generic on popular spells and ways to do this or that.
But where is the knowledge to say what you really needed?
It's like self-medication. It can be a big risk. The doctor is the one to tell you what is really needed. And some of them may goes wrong or need to work more on the case. 

Magick is not something you start today and tomorrow you are the Ooobaa-boobaaa Grand Magister. This is children fantasy tales. Or just charlatan easy talk (and I knew a lot).


One of the most important aspects of practice on magick is creating relationship with the spirits you work with.
Such relationship is not result of worship, or just repeating something like a parrot.
This comes from being respectfull with the spirits and receiving the same from them.
This is the first.
In no ways this means becoming slave of some spirit.
A spirit must respect you as friend or equals.
You never, but never are a pet for such forces.

Have you gone to some place where they does not respect the spirits or try to force you to be submissive? Some use sweety words, or even become your fake friends. Run from that like hell!

This is simple? Yes. But sometimes your life can become a hell despite you be sure to being respectfull at all areas and doing all the right things. Yes, spirits and people can be very persuasive.

Well, shit happens. I'm a kind of expert because I have been cheated a lot too. Hard times, learning under suffering. But I survived.


Many of the material I wrote about troubles and the risks when mixing magick practices at the "Ritual Offerings" book came as the result of learning under the worst conditions.
I had the most absurd strange events, learnings because under bloody and extreme suffering, being cheated, personal life destroyed, friends going crazy and companies going on severe trouble events, all due something used by fake priests and corrupted spirits trying to steal what we was doing.
And, this happened even with some decades of experience. Compassion can't be infinite. I was cheated and saw closer friends being harmed to learn that. And be sure that was not something simple to see what was happening and being unable to do more to avoid that.

Be sure, the nice moment photo at start does not show what was against us. We was on good times, near something better a lot. But things was going rotten under our feet and I had three years more living on hell to discover why things stopped working and why my friends got crazy too and we was even unable to talk. That was a severe storm that costed really a lot, a real fuck. And after that years, it still needed many years more after the hidden forces being revealed just to start a move to get rid of it. To be clear, more than a decade fighting against that. All because corrupted spirits and fake priests I trusted as friends and since the begining thinking I was learning something.

Note: I allow anyone who is a good decent person, a real priest/magician to do a reading about me to see if this is true. Be warned about that spirits will try to attack you trying to get a "feed" source.


Well, I really learned a lot of simple things that can prevent or even remove some really bad conditions. And 99,99% of that are not at any books nor most priests will talk to you.

Yes, I can talk because while I was being cheated, they forgot to take from me a previous secrecy compromise. So I can talk.
For sure, in respect with the good ones, there are things I won't comment and that are not related to this article nor the material for the book I posted.
The magickal world is really wide and have lots of nice and wonderfull things.

So, I'm today more aware about how things can turn to dark times but also, how many suffering can be avoid.
The most the troubles was worse, I learned after years that many of that have simple ways to solve using magick ways.
But until that, terrible times, doing all I was able to do, I had gone many times to hospitals at extreme sufferings with doctors going crazy because they had no idea what to do, absurds happening at all areas.
And this happened even with more than two decades of previous learnings at other areas before.


Because this too, I learned a lot of simple solutions. And that was paid with blood and suffering from many people I loved. It is simple?

Yes. That are simple when related to the specific point. Just use well the resources when needed.



At previous comment at item (3), I repeat a solution is not something to try by chance. Sometimes the events need to be explored.
Get this? In no ways "try to see what happens" is a good solution. It's like Russian roulette.


How much deeper I had explored? For sure not all, but I've gone in life where really few in the world have gone. I say the good and bad sides.  I knew wonders but also, many levels at the hell.
Be sure I know some who have gone further too and they deserve my full respect.


Even with all previous experiences, one or other time we can see something is really wrong, but the sources are hidden.
There are many ways to spirits and magick works got hidden. And what people do too. Just repeating, charlatans and scammers can do a real mess using manipulation. Some are real psychopats.

Some spirits are very good to show hidden things. But some things only will be seen if you have been at that area or know some of that area spirits. Who do you know at some of the Asian sorcery traditons? This have nothing with the nice meditation schools, most are far away from western practices.
As I cited spirits, this means some troubles need a formal ritual on magic to evoke spirits to help to find what's happening and this means a lot of resources and time to explore that. This example is not a case for a normal Tarot reading but one and other time, someone will really need this. And be sure it's not cheap as demand a lot of work. 

Back to the most "near" hidden sources that are not so difficult to find, we see that really many people can be cursed an entire life and not being aware of that. Some think they are unlucky, others have already a craz life and found to have a lot of troubles to be "normal".

So the first level is what the client can see.

But the next level is what I can see.

People come after me because I see something they can't, using my inner vision, oracles like the Tarot plus decades of personal experience under extreme rosly trainings at few known paths.
And most of times I've replied to people just based on what I see. I explain that like a kind of psychometry, but related to any source of information.

The magicians vision (including intuition) is something each one develop in many different ways. This vary according with their expertize level, but even some magicians with strong powers may have not developed the same as others.
Reading oracles is not just learning symbols and repeating that like parrots. Each oracle is a door to the spiritual realm and is needed personal development for the capability to enter at that levels. The symbols meanings, are part of the knowledge to be explored in practice.


So, it's Ok. Lets follow.
One and other time the problem needs to be explored just because something is really hidden or the magician may have not knowledge about that area or the source used something trying to be hidden. Well, some are ridiculous while others can be, say, creative.
Yes, I say each area have proper symbols, meanings and at the spiritual planes, that can be really different. 
For example, at a reading some symbols of the oracle maybe unseen or not part of the magician training. As an example, a flying bird say nothing to a Wall Street executive but can means a lot for a shaman or a sorcerer.
And even with all information I get, sometimes there are some hidden things to be revealed during a ritual. This means I have to deal with that and this can cost me a lot. But this is part of the task with one and other exception when I will need to negotiate with the client. 

Get this? I will do the best I can, but not commit a personal suicide because the client.
I can warn about the danger, but I will not jump together in the abyss if the person insists on moving on.


For sure I don't know everything, but I have worked very deep in many areas to be confident on what I can do. If not, I'm the first to say I may need to explore it more or even, suggest someone else I know who will work better at that area.


Because all this I need to know what, for what, when and how things work.

What today is simple to many people have not been for centuries.

And the simple methods, are not  always related to complexity, difficult degrees.They are related with developing wisdom, good sense and the right time to use.



To finish: here another aspect a magician need to develop: to be simple.

I'm glad to share and to make a humble comment about the new Doc Solomon's Occult Curios.

For centuries ceremonial magicians (CM) have worked on the Grimoires, learning, improving, listening to the teachings received and mainly, working daily with the needed discipline and practice to gain the knowledge and wisdom from the Highest.

I like a comment from Rufus Opus: To do the Great Work means you need to work.
And there is a lot to do in the magical path.

But not all of us can do all of that. Some are really hard. Even what at start appears simple, can become difficult to do due many reasons like hard to find ingredients, job concerns, lack of working space, no time available to follow all the practice or just the need to give more priority to some areas.
All this cost time, work and money.
Thus, sometimes is better to work for the money and find a formal magician who can supply the needed material. The work is there anyways, and to find the right materials and tools save time and add a lot to the work being done.

So, when Aaron Leitch commented he was doing Solomic tools and ingredients for a new store, this made me think how glad is to live in a time we can share information with living magicians and have the opportunity to get such material as a result of their work.

Um grande carro, não, espera...

Seja Uma Grande Empresa!

É muito fácil ser uma empresa grande. Isto é só tamanho.

Difícil, é ser uma Grande Empresa. Isto é fazer a diferença.

A diferença entre conversar com líderes empresariais, diretores ou gerentes/supervisores, é que estes últimos, geralmente estão preocupados primeiro de tudo em segurar seu emprego. Segundo, em garantir seu dinheiro no final do mês. Terceiro, em ter uma boa aparência social.
  

Só os líderes, os que verdadeiramente estão no comando, se preocupam para onde vão.

Os outros apenas tentam garantir seu osso magro ao final do mês. Não tem outra expectativa além da própria sobrevivência. Infelizmente uns quantos, sem escrúpulos, apenas fazem isso. 


Para ser uma Grande Empresa, o verdadeiro líder empresarial vai buscar  o melhor, o extraordinário.

E não apenas palavrinhas baratas de um jornal qualquer, concordando com tudo, mas sim questionando, estimulando, incentivando para que saiam do lugar comum.

Os verdadeiros líderes, tem a coragem de enfrentarem até a si mesmos.

Não se ajuda uma empresa com métodos e planilhas milagrosas se o produto for ruim, os funcionários não conseguirem ser autênticos naquilo que fazem ou se tornarem apenas meras peças num joguete administrativo.

Empresas são organismos sociais, portanto, vivos. Pode-se aprender muito sobre administração, pesquisa, estratégias, etc. simplesmente indo para a natureza. Mas não aquela natureza esterilizada dos resorts e centros de turismo ecológico que mais parecem uma feira hippie organizada.
Deve-se buscar sempre que possível, o contato com a natureza bruta, que pode estar mais perto do que você pensa.

É fácil ser uma empresa grande. 

Difícil, é ser uma Grande Empresa.

I always repeat I like to use humor because in my point of view God have a lot of fun. Yes, I talk a lot of bullshit, but is not common BS. It’s a buddhic bullshit! And I wish this help to fix what I comment too.

In all the world magicians study and some of them, after learning how the original works, develops the ancient practices to new levels, keeping the important aspects and knowledge as they goes discovering how to improve it.

Just for this example, Aaron Leitch explain using alternatives for blood that works very well and even better. And when just not to use it at all.
In practice, what I have observed at the high magician circles, blood is no needed most of times.This is evolution of magic practices due centuries of hard work.

Yes, we joke about human blood sacrifice just because it is at most horror tales. It’s magicians joke! Yes, be serious, but do not take you so serious!

Moreover, newbies lusting for instant results try it in all stupid ways you can think. It is sad to see this happening too often. Blood is life, but life and magic is wide. Extend it! Sorry, wanna to become a skilled musician? That takes time, resources and practice, a lot of all that. Magic is not a Harry Potter or Narnia fantasy story, nor vampirism is like Crepuscule movie (that is a movie about fairies… but nice. LOL…).

Ritual Offerings is the deep work of 12 formal magicians about how empower your rituals, having a better relation with the spirits and ancestors, and to understand better the "how it works" in many of most know magic areas. No need to overfeed, but just how to improve for a mutual respectful relation. It is a material presented in an unprecedented way.

Respect is the first for a good magic work, for both sides, you and the spirits.

While all the authors present the best on their areas, including some at ATR, my text is different. It's about the risks and infuences of mixing any magic practices with the ATR (African Tradicional Religion systems). Well, it’s sad, but is my experience as this is something I had a lot of practice: knowing the very bad, darkest and corrupt side.
In practice, such mixings also appears at many magical areas, so many ideas I present are related to other practices to make it a wide work.

Do not take me wrong please. ATR is something wide and fantastic. I wrote about things really few priests will comment on public and even in private. In no ways my text is an attack to ATR. I repeat, it's a fantastic area when you find the good ones working on it. This is a tradition based on mouth to mouth, but as I wrote in the book, also each priest have a personal approach, no matter the line. So there are additions, subtratitions and distortions. I just was caught due my curiosity and zero knowledge into a bad side and had to learn until I had the oportunity to let it and come back to the areas I really like and worked all my life prior and after this.This was more than a decade and I even became a Babalorixa (also know as "father of saint", a formal priest) during the process. 

Therefore, the chapter goes on the serious problems such mixings can result, even for a life. I don’t explain for sure the black magic done with that, just it become suggested, as I don’t want to teach it, but give information to you think before become a target, so have ideas about how protect yourself.

That mixings start unaware because it is easy to find recipes at any place, blogs, forums, popular magazines, but what is the real source? Uhm? Many spells we found around was a copy from some ATR source, mixed with something to have a nice look. Most people even know what they copy to promote their selves. And voilá! You become self-cursed!

I did it too, even after two decades of magic works! Trust me, magic world is really wide. That time I knew nothing about ATR, I was an easy victim of the dark side..

The next are the opportunist spirits, the corrupt priestess and charlatans. The real food in their offering is just you and your life. Moreover, no!, this is not evangelic/religion rant, as some of them do the same. I am a reverend too, and then I can talk some.

Now, for sake of information, there are valid blood sacrifices on many traditions, start at your Holly book. Just to resume, usually they are the same that go for feed the group members, but done with with prayers. This is a matter for many articles, but not on the scope we went to this book.

I've seen (and yes, sadly participated) corrupt priests pretending to sacrifice. Just mimic. That was just a stupid “show” of arrogance, like the fake cards readings. But in fact they only killed animals (including puppies) with extreme cruelty to charge the price of ritual, and then throw the bodies in the trash. Thus, also put there on purpose the names of their clients (and anyone around) in the trash to cause troubles and this way, force them to do more paid offerings. Then they say the source of all that guilt is because the "enemies." This is in real, because corrupt priests and corrupt spirits feed on the harm they do. The same spirits you may find easy on an easy spell. The kind, make an offering and be charged hard often. I saw that too much.

It is easy to lose the good aspects of such ancient practices and be caught into traps in many ways. And if you do not know about that area, ask for the most sources you can. I had a long time on that, and I got fucked a lot too, sadly even good friends was harmed, so I wrote about ATRs and mixes, but be sure, I wrote about aspects you will find in many areas, Magic, WMT, Newagers, Wiccans, Vegans and Bahá'í (yes, they too!!!), Buddhists, Evangelics, Tao, anywhere. I means, any area where you can find corrupt spirits or just find some hot ones who will dislike what you do.

Respect. Mutual respect. Observe this and you will save and learn a lot.

Now to change the mood and for good information, did you know that lipstick was used by Geishas to highlight the parts of the body where they allowed to be touched? I say, anywhere in the body.  Anywhere...

Geishas were not prostitutes, they were ladies. 
I learned this from an ex-GF who is studious of the history of art. Uhm, wowwww... This is a good offering...
